i just had to name her. my inner-motivation’s name is called the hype girl. this describes the aching-ambiguous-yearning for something bigger, something higher that i have always possessed in life. since i keep busy and am a web design professional, this page is dedicated to my personal stuff – a place to store my digital keepsakes, other than my hard drive.

i just knew i had to create another shirt (left), since the first one was received well (right). i knew i wanted it to be something vintage and include the democratic donkey. while working, i was able to mix in obama's logo, too! I'm going to try and get them printed on some thin american apparel type shirt.

it's dudley bitch!
it has somewhat become tradition if on a lazy sunday and nice weather to walk around to all the local bars/patios with friends. after leaving a pub one sunday evening, one of my good friends and i decided to make a music video dedicating Brittney Spear's song "Gimme More" to the late, Dudley Moore. It took us about an hour for the voiceover and video editing.

this is an email flyer that i made for my annual comfest party. i tried to make 3d block letters using photoshop in the hottest color scheme that everyone seems to be popular now. this is my third and last party!
obama happy hour
a friend and i created this flyer for a barack obama happy hour event that we organized to take place a week before the ohio democratic primary. the "party like a barack star" design took hold and we printed 50 t-shirts for the event and sold out shortly.
if i was a cartoon
there are so many sites out there where you can create a cartoon or model of yourself. the first one, my h&m model, which is one of my favorite retial stores, has a section on their site where you can virtually try on their clothes. and of course, during the release of the simpson movie, i think everyone with a computer made a version of themselves as well as me!
my 9-to-5 motivation
about 6 months after i started working at my current employer, a co-worker and i decided to reward ourselves for completing cool projects or troubleshooting difficult functionality, so I printed about 10 paper crown and cokes and we made a chart on the wall next to his desk. everytime we attempt something, we value the effort in terms of crown and cokes. they must be redeemed at the local bar within the month they were issued. maybe we were bored that day...lol.

this is the end result of my '07 halloween custome. my two good freinds and i decided to be a retro bowling team. we all had our own names. my name was starleene. we managed to put together the outfits in a reasonable amount of time and money. the shoes were the biggest challenge....no comment!
